This event was rather strange...
Back around 1989 friend of mine and I were walking into a grocery store. We were busy talking about what we were going to buy, the door opened and as we walked in we noticed something rather odd.
Everyone seemed to be frozen in place for just a split second and then they all started moving again.
The effect was similar to having old video on spools and the film stops for a microsecond and then restarts, as if trying to catch up to where it was supposed to be.
We both looked at each other and asked at the same time, "Did you see that?".
Then she described what she saw and I described the same thing.
I had another incidence at a grocery store in Springfield around 2006 at a grocery store on Kansas Expressway.
I was with a friend of mine and we were visiting a grocery store we go to all the time. The reason why we went to this particular store because we knew where everything was and we could run into it real quick, get what we needed and run back out.
On this occassion we were going in to get some ketchup. We knew exactly what aisle it was on. We went directly to where that aisle should be. But the aisle wasn't there.
We knew that it wasn't there because that aisle is shorter than the other aisle, since it's next to the produce. At first we thought perhaps they had modified the store and changed the location of the ketchup. We split up and went to look for an employee who could tell us where the ketchup was. I didn't find an employee but my friend did. She caught up with me and told me that the employee told her that the ketchup was where it had always been, the aisle we couldn't find.
We went back to the area and there was the aisle. The ketchup was exactly where we expected it to be. But we both knew that it hadn't been there when we first came in.
